Can A Listbuilding System Be TOTALLY Automated?

I know we’re all a bit sick and tired of promises of “automated software” that will make us rich before dinner.

And I’m always the first to be skeptical of these kinds of outrageous claims.

But today I may have to actually eat my words.

Because I just picked up a listbuildilng system that really is incredibly fast…,

And the traffic actually does keeps flow in on auto-pilot.

It’s a pretty new tactic on the scene that I’ve heard of.

But I never really knew how to implement it.

Then I found this:

<a href=”http://neverfaillistbuilding.com/freestuff/video-2/”>Free Plug N Play Listbuilding System</a>

At that link 7 figure marketer Bill McRea is  GIVING AWAY this listbuilding system totally free…

It’s his way of getting some buzz going for his upcoming product launch (apparently he’s go another system up his sleeve that’s even better than this)

In any case..

I went and got this myself and it’s totally legit.

There’s nothing scammy about it all.
It’s just a way to instantly create a win-win offer that potential JV partners can’t refuse.

Bill hand you EVERYTHING you need to make it work. And I mean EVERYTHING.

So if you know the power of having a mailing list..

Do yourself a favor and go get this.

Do it now: <a href=”http://neverfaillistbuilding.com/freestuff/video-2/”>Free Plug N Play Listbuilding System</a>

I mean…you can’t beat the price, right?

P.S. There is one catch to this…you’ll have to help spread the word. But that’s easy for me because I’ve seen this strategy in action and know that it works.
You should get <a href=”http://neverfaillistbuilding.com/freestuff/video-2/”>Free Plug N Play Listbuilding System</a> now!

“Mr. Singleton, we are interested in working with a few key individuals because our number one goal today is to identify a few key individuals with whom we can work and whose success story we can use in the future.”

Sounds good, right? Hell, more than that, it sounds fair.

“So what your saying is all you want is for me to work with your coaches to build a successful business and you get to use my success story in marketing your system, correct?”

“ Absolutely. All we want is your best efforts and willingness to be teachable and accountable.”

Teachable and accountable from my network marketing days I have come to realize means you are willing to get on their book and tape list which in some cases accounts for large percentages of their incomes, sometimes the majority of their incomes. The miracle butt cream they are pushing or the $6 tube of magic root toothpaste is apparently for the selling to others and pays limited percentages until you get to where you are moving a buttload of books and tapes.

Anyways. I am over it.

One such system swore to me that there was no charge, then about three quarters of the way through the conversation he started talking about a grant to cover the cost of the program. I asked why did I need a grant if all they wanted was my best efforts. I have to be frank in that I have looked at so many programs that this guy’s discomfort was humorous to me because he was so busted.

The point is they wanted to teach me to do a drop ship program using eBay and my own websites and all for the low price of $1,200.00. Well, DOBA charges a monthly fee and these folks had a onetime fee of $1,200.00. I negotiated that down to $300.00 mainly by saying that was what I was willing to pay or I was walking. They came back with $400.00 and I bit…in two equal payments of $200.00, of course, and with the provision that the first con man who called me not get paid because he lied when he said there was no charge.

If their service sucks in 30 days I will cancel and if they want to come after me in small claims, so be it, I will hammer them. I am hopeful that they can actually keep their word. The fellow I am working with seems to be an okay fellow. I am keeping the name of the company confidential for now. If I have not earned my $200 back in 30 days, or if I have, I will report on it.

There are some folks out there who are making a LOT of money. Sadly, I suspect a ton of it is done by overpromising, underdelivering, and having the best disclaimer and terms of agreement out there that money can by. Selling something for $39.95 has got to be the best gig in town because it is cheap enough that lots of folks will take a chance and too small for anybody to sue over when it does not perform up to snuff. Has ANYBODY bought a system for $39.95 that even earned them their money back? A few, it is true, very few.

All of which sucks and screws up the market when you really want to sell good products which are of equal value to the price you charge.

This company claims it will teach me how to build drop shipping relationships with people in that business and show me how to profitably use eBay and how to use eBay to drive people to my own website.

Well, we will see. After all, I have spent more than $400 on a date, on a bad date. Hopefully, they can actually come through. I will consider the program a success if it earns me in a month what I paid for it. Working at home clearly has to be built in sections and pieces, just like the house you want to work out of.

You know, you find a product that is exciting because it clearly fills a need, it has a proven track record of success as a revenue stream, and you genuinely feel it will be a benefit to your client at least equal to the purchase price. You decide on a domain name to post your landing page, you set up your autoresponder, and you begin customizing the landing pages and the software or product as instructed.

Only…those instructions tell you to customize it to read in the first person when you did not write ANY of it.

All of a sudden you are moving slow and staring off into space a bit. Disclaimers being what they are, you still know you did not write the thing. The experiences cited are not yours even though the work is written in the first person. Now, I know prose written in the first person is more interesting to read. “The author of this work found himself to be excited” just does not read as well as “Dude, I was fired UP!”

So, to return to the point of this article, a question I have not answered yet. Is it legal, moral and ethical to buy the rights to a work (yes, clearly) and represent that you are the author (no way) even with the original author’s explicit permission because it was his or her intent that you do so? Here, my mental gears grind because it is not plagiarism as I conceive the concept because plagiarism to me implies theft which is not the case here.

I do want to market the products but I will not unless I can come up with a way to explicitly inform the potential buyer of the fact that I am selling it under Private Lable Resell rights without compromising the sales copy. If the issue of it being a product sold under license from another makes the product somehow less beneficial to the purchaser then I have wasted a hell of a lot of time.

At a quarter of the cost of the last system reviewed, you are getting TONS of bonuses, videos that are easily followed, references to resources that you will use for years, and the genuine ownership of three businesses with REAL products of clear value with The Cash Code.

In two hours, you can have a website up, running, and delivering product. I am more excited about The Cash Code than I have been about a product in a long time. Check out The Cash Code for a real shot at freedom.

Here is an example of what you will get. This is one of my LIVE SITES that I am promoting as a result of purchasing and implementing The Cash Code.

My plan with The Cash Code is simple. Set them up, drive traffic to them, cash the checks from PayPal.

Tim

At $997 for a system that provides four websites and hopefully gets you on the fast track to an online income, you would think that the articles used for article marketing to drive traffic to your sites would be a little more in depth. You would also expect that the support folks would respond faster.

I purchased Cash System X and worked it, HARD, because plainly and simply I am in the HUNT to make my online business equal my day job. Why? Because I want choices and options should I say the wrong thing at work and I want to be able to retire in style in eleven years. I will be 58, my first born will be around 10, my sweetie will still be considered as too young for me by many, and when I teach my kids concerning Egypt it will be at the foot of the pyramids in the shadow of the Pharoahs.

I paid the $997 because the sales copy was convincing. I thought I was purchasing 4 websites that would be set up for me. While the situation is more complex than that, I have to say that someone who is completely new to this stuff will not be able to get the system up and running within the 30 money back guarantee timeframe. This is my opinion and it is a strong opinion.

When I did indicate to them that I wanted a refund, it took some doing. While I will give them the benefit of the doubt as to why my refund was so long coming – mistakes and crap happens to the best of us – the slow response and lack of response in the final straw that led to the refund request makes me take the position that when thinking of which system to try you need to X Cash System X OFF your list.

I finally got my refund because I got the company who processed the payment involved in the situation. Not good.

Cash System X. Recommendation: Steer clear.

Tim

Why? Because things are starting to cook.

I have invested in three significant marketing systems and my standard is very simple. Sales during the moneyback guarantee period have to equal the cost of the system or the thing is returned. This very simple standard prevents a loss of capital and is fair to both parties.

Some vendors might argue the point because we all know most folks who buy into various systems do so, thumb through the information, and set it aside. By the time they get back around to actually doing something with it, the right to return time has expired with them having done nothing to implement the system. I find it highly unfair for them to have feelings of hurt in any way.

I, on the other hand, do everything I am told to do in that period. I suggest if you are going to pony up the money to buy a system that you do not hesitate in pulling the trigger on implementation. This is the only way you will get free is to work at it. The only way to work at home is to work.

Best Regards,

Tim Singleton

Okay folks, here is the deal. If you are so broke that you are sitting on less than half a paycheck in the bank, then sit tight until you have a little bit of money saved up. You are not going to make any headway in working from home on affiliate marketing if you have absolutely no cash to put out on making the thing go. Running yourself further into the hole is not going to help. Besides, the reason you are where you are now is most likely (not always, true) a result of rash buying decisions. Thinking someone is going to show you how to makes millions for $17 is not the way to go.

Quit it. Quit taking chances on $17 promises. Just for chuckles I have spent the last few days working through several offers in order to what was what and whether there was any value whatsoever and, sad to say, there is very little. One of the core purposes of this site is to let you know what works; what I have found to be legitimate, and also what is absolutely hogwash. This means in addition to things I know are working, such as my Nutronix business, my silver bullion and my coconut sap sugar business, I also have to report on what does not work.

One fellow has a new twist and I will play. He says if I do everything he says to do in his newsletter everyday, I will make $1,000 in 30 days. We shall see. I mean, he could be right. I was certain there would be an upsell going in. He did not disappoint. If his steps make me a grand in 30 days, I will recommend him to you and show you the check.

Go to work if you have a job. If you do not, find one. Be frugal, save a little money for emergencies, be practical. You did not get here in a day and you won’t get out in a day. Some folks, more than a few, have managed to have significant money coming in after 90 days. You are going to need a little money for operating expenses as you promote your affiliate site, right? You have to generate leads, do you not? There are ways to do this; this is a business; business means you have costs.

Scenario: You are barely able to meet your needs needs from your paycheck. Creditor after creditor is breathing down your neck. You have $25 in the bank until you get paid on Thursday – you with me? Hard freaking times indeed we are talking here. You are out on the web looking for some help and voila! a by gumption- GAH-ron-TEED program for $17.00!

That is it! $17.00 measely little old dollars, not even the price of Chinese for two folks from a decent hole in the wall place. You think about. Naaaah. You know it probably crap. Still, it might be for real. Maybe. You putter around for the next hour, rereading and rereading and rereading. Hope begins to grow. Finally you cannot help yourself, you whip out your credit card, enter the number and what is the very first thing on the welcome page? Yup…if you REALLY want to be successful, you need THIS!

…whatever this may be. For another $79 you can have it, too! (or $39, or $197 or whatever.)You are burning a little around the ears right now, mostly because you are feeling like Ricky Ricardo when his steering wheel was stolen and the fellow was trying to sell it back to him. It said he would show me everything, did it not? Yes, it did. You are not crazy. You are wrapped in the moth, funnel cloud, two and a half gainer upselling system.  No, you say, then again, hit cancel to again become subject to the next discounted price.

Please do not fall for it when you are dead broke. Admittedly, some of these systems will work if you have some operating capital. If you do not, you are killing yourself and your spirit by one disappointing bad purchasing decision at a time. Besides, I know for a fact if you stand your ground long enough they will get the price of the next sell right. But again, you still have to have operating money to make it work.

Now, I am all for working from home. I want it again so bad I am hitting the sack a lot of times at midnight and getting back up at 2AM. Why? Because this is not easy. Were it easy, it would not be possible for folks to earn $100,000 doing it. The difficulty is what makes it worth the juice. If it were not for the fact that I have an awesome job, I would already be working from home but my goal is to have my online business matching a multiple of my job.

I am here to help you. I don’t want your last dime because if I take you last dime, you will have nothing with which to work your business. This is called stupid and counterproductive. You will get frustrated and my name will be mud and if you have been paying attention you know that is not what I want. If it sounds too good to be true, it might be, but not always. Keep a wary eye on the lookout is all I am saying.

In order to get started, really started in affiliate marketing on some kind of fast track, you are going to have to spend some money and even then you are talking a crap shoot. The best programs I have seen out there from a professional standpoint and what they give you are going to cost you a $1,000.00, period. There may be some programs out there that you can get into and get started but do you really have the time to try to figure out what they are not telling you in the $17 programs? I mean, sure, you will get some value, perhaps even enough to make your money back, but this is not going to be a breakout program like an MLM business that sells a consumable product that actually has a demonstrated benefit and can indeed be started for less than $500 in most cases. Nutronix can be started for less that $50.00.  Actually, that is not entirely accurate. There is no cost to get started, the $50 or so is for your first order of product that will make you feel better anyway. Lord knows if you are living hand to mouth you probably are not getting proper nutrition anyways and this will help.

As for the freebies? Get all you can get and read them. They have value. They are designed to get you on the track to spend money in order to make money. Anything here that is free is designed to help you get started. I recommend them and give them away because in my opinion I believe they will help you get started. You are going to need to dig in and go to your gutcheck and start putting together some financial resources in order to prime the pump.

These things may not be what you want to hear. Some master marketers may find this article infuriating. Everything I have written here is true and based on my experiences since 1995 when I started my own ISP.

There are four main ways to become a millionaire in the USA. They are:

  1. Work for Microsoft. As I understand it, Microsoft has created some 3,300 millionaires.
  2. Work with a network marketing company. To date, this method has created some 2,700 cash flow millionaires and outright millionaires. These numbers will surpass Microsoft sometime. Will you be one of them?
  3. Own a dry cleaning business. Yes, sir. A dry cleaning business has that most beautiful of words in the capitalistic world built right into it. Those words are repeat business. Last I heard the number was somewhere around 1500 or so.
  4. Pharmaceutical sales. Yep.

A $17.00 act of desperation is not going to get you rolling in ANY of these fields. So, get hold of yourself, start putting back what you can, READ (I have a list, get them from the library, email me and I will provide it free) and relax. Top Ramen noodles are good and will kill the beast until you can afford better. I know this from personal experience.

Sometimes you have to just say no and end a relationship. As always, there is the possibility that you are making a mistake. Yet, these decisions have to be made. I say make them and move on. No one decision such as this can make or break a company anyways. I still feel compelled to comment on it, though. Mainly because I am in the hunt to build a company built on good, quality products and services which I am not ashamed to have my name associated with.

If you do not believe me, you are welcome to move on. See, I am tired of the situation we are in as a people right now. No one in my opinion cares as much about doing a quality job as they do about getting paid. I like to think that I, Timothy Lynn Singleton, do care as much.

I sell gold and silver. Why? Because there is no more sure way to protect your savings from total loss than precious metals.

I am in the process of setting up an Amsoil distributorship: Why? Because I want to run it in my own vehicles and it is of Rearden Steel quality by all accounts.

We are proud to be a Nutronix distributor: Why? Because the first two thoughts I have when I saw the product and opportunity were first, I need to get this into the hands of my mother and second, this system is do-able and duplicatable by any and everyone.

We sell coconut sap sugar that has a glycemic index safe for diabetics: Why? Because there are more than a few diabetics around me, I love and use the product, and it helps diabetics to be able to enjoy their food more.

What is the thread holding these products together? Me and my belief in their ability to make peoples’ lives better.

Having worked my way through more than a few supposed systems for using clickbank as a way to make a good affiliate income in the last few weeks, I can tell you now that when you go down the path of looking for a system just be prepared to lose some money in simply bad products.

I am not referring to clickbank products because clickbank has proven itself over time to be on the up and up.

I am referring to the so-called gurus who want to tell you how to get rich from clickbank for $39.95…or $399.95. The really special ones, though, tell you that for $39.95 they will tell you how to be free. You sign up and sure, yeah, you have the bones of a plan…for another $197 they will give you the rest of the puzzle. So, there you find yourself more than a little pissed and having to go through the refund process.

So, having spent some time in the affiliate marketing sphere, looking into all the ins and out of various offerings, I decided to pull the plug on chasing so called experienced gurus. One company was kind enough to try to keep my business by asking me what was wrong:

Thanks for your email. May I ask what features of your premium membership you were not impressed with or what you felt let you down from your expectations? We are so committed to helping our members succeed that we would love to be given the chance to help you out in anyway we can, you name it!

Please be aware that once we cancel your Premium subscription you will have no further access to the Premium area and Premium tools. Your account will have this access level removed immediately.

We are more than happy to cancel your account if this doesn’t interest you. Please email us back and we will process your cancellation immediately.

Hope we can help out.

They were trying to be nice and of service, so I kind of felt bad for some odd reason. Their site was better organized than most. Still, I have the information I needed in a usable format that I can integrate into my business plan. Since I had an inkling of appreciation for their efforts (no one else bothers to listen, they just keep pounding away with cool copy hoping something will prod me into spending money.) I decided to answer them in a complete fashion as it might help them. Who knows? I might return down the road as a customer. Here is my reply:

Information overload, actually.

See, I have looked into a TON of affiliate marketing programs lately. Some will say, “$39 and we will teach you about affiliate marketing. Okay, so I pay and BANG! Right there on the first page is an upsell to ‘really get ALL the secrets.’ I understand about upsell, but do NOT promise me the moon in order to get the down payment and then hold me hostage for another $197…or another $995 in one case.

Not saying YOU did this, just explaining myself in detail in order to help you understand my decision. Moving on.

As I say, I have signed into a number of programs. One I paid $299 for. I saved the money over a number of months because I was determined to do everystep outlined in the program because it said in 90 days I could be generating an income I could live on. Well, guess what? Half the links in the program did not work. Sure, I have no doubt this fellow is making money hand over fist with the number of websites he has out there, but that really does not help me, does it? Regretfully and after five different requests for help in at least making the links work, I requested and quickly received a refund. Please understand, I did not want a refund, I wanted the information so I could work the program.

Now…and this part you are going to love…many of the various programs I have signed into are now trying to cross sell me each other’s programs and products. What the hell is that? I tell you what it is, many of these big dogs are making a killing off of people’s desperation and hopes and it is not right; it is theft by deception in my opinion.

Again, this is not aimed at you, just trying to help you understand why I am canceling.

Besides the upsells that in some cases can total nearly 2 grand and even more in some cases, there is the barrage of emails from the gurus who are desperately trying to find just the right pitch that will cause me to let loose of my money. Which in and of itself is not a bad thing, it is what I want to learn to do to sell clickbank products, too. It is bizarre to pay money for one plan, then have the people you paid that money to try to sell you yet another plan, then, while you are in the middle of digesting that plan, they are promoting a buddy’s plan and finally you have to say, “Hold on, I have repeatedly asked what is THE best way to market as an affiliate on the Internet. You have changed horses three times in three weeks and I cannot think clearly, what is it you are telling me I should do?”

The simplest solution to me is to STOP and get off ALL the horses because you can only ride one horse at a time if you want to get anywhere.  Finally, I come across a plan that explains to me how to market clickbank products in conjunction with several other opportunities and guess what? The knowledge is free. I just had to keep looking and wading.

I have no idea if yours is effective or not. I simply know that I cannot make more than one system work at a time and am so overcome with so-called affiliate marketing systems right now that I cannot continue on this path.

I am sticking to my original plan. Find products and services of good quality and come up with an honest marketing plan that does the product justice and is in no way misleading or overstating of the benefits of the product or service.

I think telling the truth about a good product or service is a good way to sell the product to a person who wants it. I cannot address yours as there is just no way for me to swallow everything in the amount of time I have in a day. I have formulated a system I think will work from the gems I have managed to dig out and I am on my way. I am in the business of moving products and services offered through two main companies, certain clickbank products, and a small but growing number of tangibles that reach a specific level of quality. That’s it.

Please carry out my request for cancellation as I do wish to cancel.

Working from home without being a business owner

Working from home does not have to involve being in business for yourself, though I think it is the best of all worlds. For some folks, though, some amount of handholding is necessary. This is not a criticism. For all of us who want to be our own boss, we will at some point need folks who want to be employees.

Being an independent contractor is a hybrid position in that you are responsible for your own taxes and more or less how you manage your time. You are in business for yourself, but you are contracted to a single entity or to a small group of related entities. This involves you providing your own transportation, insurance, and work space in

your home. I have had more than one engagement where I worked from home, reported in to my handler once a week, every two weeks, or even every day. Without exception, it is a most excellent arrangement.

For instance, some years ago, Intel had an ‘Intel Inside’ campaign going on. Our job was to visit the various retailers in the area who carried Intel based products. We detailed the displays, gave away tee shirts to employees and customers and built the brand using the tools provided. We were paid per store. Randomly we had folks come behind us and check our work.

In another, we did Value Added Reseller training on OS/2 Warp 3.0 and again, we were paid per store and expected to do so many stores a week. The beauty was if you worked your tail off, you could be through with the required workload and have done a good job by Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. Myself and my team always went ahead and did our reports for the week, then replicated our records up to the home office on Fridays. We used Lotus Notes and Domino server in this particular application.

As I say, it was a no pressure job for someone who likes to work and likes his or her work.

Taxes

Used to, some of the contracts would involve them taking out just social security, making us something called a contract employee which was neither an employee nor an independent contractor. You were responsible for your own income taxes, though. I am almost positive the current laws are different from that. Make sure to pay special attention to the taxes and who and how they are paid in your situation. Great money is always great; getting behind on your taxes is not so great. Just as you learned to balance your checkbook, you can learn to file your quarterly taxes on time with no sweat.

Caveats and Addendums

One drawback with these types of jobs is they are sadly all too often short term. The Intel Inside campaign was a limited six month contract. Happily, I recall it got extended. On another, IBM saw the writing on the wall with OS/2 losing out to Windows 95 in the marketplace. It was clear that no matter how well we did our job, IBM was going to pull the plug on the program. IBM does not run their business the same way as Microsoft. As I understand it, IBM runs their business from the standpoint that if it does not earn a certain rate of return on a product line, they pull the plug. I am not positive of that, but that is the way I interpreted the messages and communications there at the end when they offered to transfer me to Dallas. I was also shocked to learn that at that point in 95, IBM’s software sales dwarfed Microsoft’s. IBM is a different business entirely from Microsoft, or at least it was. OS/2 was their attempt to stay in the personal computer market and as you can tell, over time their interest has fallen way off.

Another thing to be acutely aware of is the number of work at home scams that are out there. They can range from telling you how to rip off legitimate programs by employing questionable marketing practices to outright money laundering schemes. Short comment? If it is too good to be true it probably is. If it clearly presents opportunities for abuse, then the abuse is probably being committed. If something looks good, simply search it online with the word ‘scam’ attached and you will get answers. What we are discussing here is your working for a company that requires your services for things you can do at home on your computer on your schedule, NOT how to rip off the search engines with false hits on pay per click programs.

Positive Facts

Companies like folks who are dependable enough that they can work without supervision. These types of employees and contracted resources are good for the bottom line. The employer or entity contracting with you saves money on benefits and you enjoy a higher than average income with minimum hassle from traffic and constant looking over your shoulder. You also have many tax benefits that others who work as a traditional employee do not have. Love taxes or hate them, it is employees who pay the most taxes and it is employees

who must pay the most taxes because the employee pool is the only one big enough to supply the Federal government with all the funds it thinks is its just due. Well, I did say this was a section on positive facts, did I not? Moving on.

Working from home, providing services to companies from home is a win win for everyone involved. If you are a parent, I can see no better way to work than to do it from home. You gain valuable, quantifiable tax benefits, you are able to be there for you kids if that is a core value with you as it is with me, and your stress levels are simply lower. The ability to avoid rush hours alone no doubt would make you a healthier, happier individual.

There are jobs out there for the right person. Many Fortune 500 companies use telecommuters for all types of services. Here is a resource that can help you get started in finding that stay at home job you have dreamed about. SCI can help you get started searching for THE company you can work for from home.
